With the purchase of your ticket, you can transport all the luggage that fits the following conditions with no additional cost:

One 50 Lbs (23 Kgs) piece to be sent as checked luggage and one 22 Lbs (10 Kgs) hand luggage to travel in the passenger cabin. Checked luggage is that containing items such as clothing and personal effects necessary for the use and comfort or convenience during your trip. Hand luggage contains items of great value to the passenger such as laptops, phones, medicines, important documents and money.

Important: The weight allowed is per passenger, a piece is not compensatory of another, i.e., the passenger may only carry luggage weighing up to 23 kilos. When carrying a second bag you must pay the excess, not exceeding 23 kilos, or 158 linear cm.

 
Since some devices may emit electronic pulses that can affect gear on the aircraft, you’ll have topower-off any portable electronic device carried in hand luggage, during the following stages of flight: Takeoff - Descent - Landing

For routes destination from/to :  Antigua (ANU)* - Port-au-Prince (PAP)* - St. Marteen (SXM)** - Aruba (AUA)*** - Curaçao (CUR)***
* Valid for passengers who purchased their tickets from April 7, 2017.
**Valid for passengers who purchased their tickets from February 21, 2017. 
*** Valid for passengers who purchased their tickets from March 8,  2017.

  • Luggage policy - Permitted All year: 
    Only is allowed one (1) piece of 23kg (50.6lbs) - Low Season / High Season, without cost.

  • Extra Luggage Cost - Up to three (3) additional pieces (suitcases) are handled, always maintaining the permitted dimensions:
    1st extra piece : $40 USD + Taxes
    2nd extra piece: $100 USD + Taxes
    3rd extra piece: $150 USD + Taxes
    If overweight: $40 USD + Taxes per piece weighing between 23kg and up to 32 kg.
    May apply certain restrictions according to the season and the space availability. 

For routes with destination from/to: Havana (HAV)

  • Luggage policy - Permitted All year:
    Up to three (3) pieces up to 30 kg (66lbs) maximum.

  • Excess Cost
    Charge upon additional kg. Passengers can carry up to 30Kg (baggage allowance), plus excess kg at a cost as described above.

For routes with destination from/to: San Juan (SJU) - Miami (MIA)

  • Luggage policy - Permitted All year: 
    Only is allowed one (1) piece of 23kg (50.6lbs) - Low Season / High Season, without cost.

  • Extra Luggage: Allowed all year  in both Low Season and High Season, subject to space availability.

  • Extra Luggage Cost - Up to two (2) additional pieces (suitcases) are handled, always maintaining the permitted dimensions:
    1st extra piece : $40 USD + Taxes
    2nd extra piece: $100 USD + Taxes
    If overweight: $40 USD + Taxes per piece weighing between 23kg and up to 32 kg.

Luggage policies for children

  • Children under 2 years cannot register their own luggage. They may only carry one (1) infant or diaper bag as hand luggage, plus a children’s pram, which must be completely foldable. It must be removed at the door of the aircraft and given back upon arrival.

  • Those children traveling while occupying a seat and have paid a children’s regular rate are entitled to the luggage allowance equivalent to that of a passenger traveling with adult fare.

  • Hand luggage for children (as long as it is an infant): Seats for infants, Small items of personal entertainment, Infant bags (diaper bags, breast milk).
    *All overweight, oversized or additional luggage will be transported subject to space and route.

 Regulations

  • Articles containing dangerous goods, infectious substances, poisons or radioactive materials are prohibited.
  • All items must be correctly packed, the instruments will be accepted as long as they are in their hard case, and comply with the special luggage policies allowed by routes.
  • All cargo accompanied or not, must travel along with a disclaimer, signed by the passenger.
  • Our security personnel must request the passenger to open the contents to verify that they do not carry dangerous goods.
  • The suitcases are used only for the transport of passenger luggage, such as clothes, shoes, toiletries.
    It is prohibited to transport TV, food, dangerous goods, paintings, ceramics, inside a suitcase, as luggage. These must be protected according to the special luggage policies of each item, as an accompanying cargo.

TSA regulations provides that:

Personal items such as deodorant, hair spray, nail polish, perfume, and certain medicines are permitted in luggage in limited quantities. Items in hand luggage can not exceed three ounces per container in a clear plastic quarter-sized bag. The items in checked baggage can not exceed 16 ounces per container or 70 ounces total per passenger.
The usual measure of a quarter-size bag is: 770x480cm. With zipper.
